After a life-changing experiencing at a Youth Peace Camp in Serbia, founder Shane Hanson knew his purpose was to create a non-profit that served Foster Youth through sports, mentorship, and training. Due to the deeply flawed foster care system, many children who need safe and secure environments are left with a lack of structure and resources. Freedom Youth Foundation was created to help fill that gap along side a community of amazing volunteers and sponsors. They care for thousands of foster kids each year in California, Idaho and Mexico.
