Oprah Winfrey Network: Interior Signage for New Headquarters
The design aesthetic of the Oprah Winfrey Network HQ can be described as boutique hotel meets corporate office. It makes use of a lot of natural materials with unique touches. We wanted the signage to complement that aesthetic and in some cases blend into walls discretely. We chose the same oak that was being used in the flooring and furniture while balancing that with a matte finish clear acrylic. The acrylic is back painted to match the wall color (hiding any unsightly mounting hardware). We collaborated with the Looking design studio, who oversaw the creative direction of the signage and HLW International, who led the overall interior design.
